The Shri. Omkarnath Malpani College Library was established in the year 1998 and its collection is growing extensively since then. The well-stocked Library is considered as an asset for the college. To support institutes mission, the Library aims to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of legal information resources and provides value added services. It also aims to build an exhaustive collection of electronic legal information. The library housekeeping activities are computerized using VRIDDHI software.
The Law College has number of rare books and Journals in the library. Apart from the law books the Law College buys number of knowledge based books, periodicals, magazines to enrich the knowledge of the students. Some of the rare books were donated by our Trustees and ex. student Some of the books are related to Law and other books are for enrichment of social knowledge. The Law College allows the Alumni members and academicians to make use of these books in the Library. To cater the need of the local the college has made and arrangement to provide the books, journals and magazine both in English and Vernacular language.

Library is automated by VRIDDHI software. It is a user-friendly software developed to work under client-server environment. VRIDDHI provides Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) / WEBOPAC facility which enables users to search the library’s collection and guides them to precise location. All work related to issue and return has been computerized. All books are bar-coded.

The students are requested to observe the following rules, which are necessary for the benefit of all students.
1. How can I get my library card?
Please come with your original fee receipt and one passport size photograph and fill the library Membership Form available in the library counter.
2. Can I borrow Journals / magazines/newspapers?
No. Journals/magazines / newspapers are not issued to any library member.
3. Can I issue the reference books?
No. Reference books are not for issue.
4. How many books I can borrow at a time and for how many days?
Students can issue 1 Book for 07 days.
5. How many times I can renew a book?
A user can renew books maximum two times after issue of books from the library provided book is not demanded by any library member.
6. Do I need to pay fines due to late return of books?
Yes. Fine Rs 2/- per day.
