workshops
The College has organised one day workshop on “Right to Information Act”. In this workshop, Dr. Suresh Joshi (Chief Commissioner, Right to Information Commission, Maharashtra), Shri Prasad Dhakephalkar (Senior Advocate, High Court, Mumbai), Shri. Shantanu Khanvilkar, Shri. Vitthal Bulbule and social worker Shri. Anna Hajare were given their valuable speech and guided to the participants. Another one day workshop for NSS Volunteers on “Right to Information Act, 2005” was jointly organised by S.P. Sanstha’s Shri Omkarnath Malpani Law College, National Service Scheme (Savitribai Phule Pune University), YASHDA (Pune) and Ford Foundation on 12th Sep 2009 in the Law College. The object behind organizing the workshop is to spread the knowledge in society at large about the Right to Information Act. The Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the College participate in various workshops, seminars and conferences organised at District, Regional, University, State and National Levels.
Anti ragging
The College constituted Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad as per the Circular No. 2017-18/268 circulated by the Savitribai Phule Pune University on 14/08/2017. The Committee and Squad are active. Therefore, no case of ragging is found in the college campus.
Personality Development
To develop the personality of girls-students, the College organizes ‘Personality Development Programme’ every academic year in association with the Board of Students Welfare, Savitribai Phule Pune University. Every year many girls participate in such program.
Karmveer Bhaurao Patil Earn & Learn Scheme:
The College is running Karmveer Bhaurao Patil Earn & Learn Scheme sponsored by University of Pune for the students who are poor and needy. Under this scheme, the college provides them work and pays remuneration as per the University rules. Many students have been benefitted through this scheme as it is a tool for such students who feel proud to learn by self-earned money through this scheme.
NSS
The College conducts Special Camps of NSS under the guidance of Savitribai Phule Pune University. The college had adopted village Kokangaon (Nizarneshwar) under the swachh Gaon Digital Gaon sponsored by Savitribai Phule Pune University. Since the academic year 2017-18, the College has conducted NSS Camps at Kokangaon (Nizarneshwar), a village adopted by the College. The purpose of the College and University behind organizing these camps is to develop the awareness towards law in the rural area people. With the help of NSS Volunteers and the renowned resource persons, these camps will be conducted. Along with the special camps, the College also conducts various extension activities under the NSS
College Magazine
he College publishes ‘Nyaychetana’ annually since the academic year 2007-08 to motivate the students to write and share their ideologies, concepts, experience, emotions, experiments and cultural activities. Through the Nyaychetana, the College focused in creating awareness towards social responsibilities and personal views among the students.
The College magazine gives the information regarding the various activities conducted by the College every year. The magazine includes the details of various activities of the college, Law Festival, NSS programmes and also the articles, poems, academic and legal information contributed by the students and staff.
In the year 2009-10, the college has secured 3rd prize from the Savitribai Phule Pune University for publishing the best magazine in the Ahmednagar district.
Soft Skill Program
This programme is conducted every year especially for final year students of LL.B. and B.A.LL.B. courses to sharpen their emotional and physical appearance when they will behave with their clients, seniors, juniors, colleagues and community members.
